Director of Legal Strategy and Operations

 

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Legal Strategy and Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will play a critical role in shaping the legal and compliance framework for our business.

 

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial law, technology, and data privacy. They will be responsible for developing and implementing legal strategies that align with our business objectives and drive growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement legal strategies to support business growth and expansion.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and risk management.

    • Partner with senior leaders to provide commercially relevant legal guidance and support business decisions.

    • Manage regulatory risks and disputes, ensuring proactive mitigation and resolution.

    • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and developments in commercial law, technology, and data privacy.

 

Requirements:

    • LL.B. (LL.M. preferred) with 12–16 years PQE across law firms and in-house roles.

    • Strong experience in technology/AI, data privacy, and commercial contracting.

    • Expertise in DPDP, GDPR, AI regulation, consumer law, and commercial negotiations.

    • Exceptional ability to balance legal risk with business agility.

    • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

    • A growth-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable operating in fast-paced and evolving markets.
