Strategic Leadership Position

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the higher education landscape, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively with stakeholders at various levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thought Leadership: Collaborate with committee leadership and members to identify key areas for thought leadership papers, reports, and articles.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly engage with regulatory bodies, Ministry of Education, and other related ministries/state governments to develop reports and inputs on government notifications and policy documents.
  • Partnership Development: Foster relationships with university leaders, multilateral/bilateral organizations, and other important stakeholders in higher education.

Higher Education Summit (HES):

  • Summit Organization: Coordinate the annual global HES, working closely with the Committee leadership to design the conference program and identify national and international partners.
  • Masterclass Management: Oversee masterclasses, workshops, and focused closed-door interactions between industry and academic leaders.
  • Revenue Generation: Work towards generating revenue for the department through sponsorship, delegate participation, and social media branding.

Projects and Webinars:

  • Project Identification: Collaborate with FICCI's NKFH partners to initiate activities based on the NKFH framework and organize capacity building programs for faculty and Higher Education Leadership.
  • Global Agency Collaboration: Engage with World Bank and other global agencies to explore joint projects and identify mutually beneficial initiatives with Central government agencies/state governments.

Reports and Recommendations:

  • Government Monitoring: Keep a close eye on recent government announcements and develop FICCI inputs/recommendations for their consideration.
  • Knowledge Partner Assistance: Work with the Knowledge Partner to provide information through secondary research for the annual FICCI Knowledge report.
  • Position Paper Assistance: Assist Key committee members/task forces in putting together position papers/reports on identified areas.

FICCI Eduwrap:

  • Bi-Monthly Newsletter Creation: Create a bi-monthly sectoral newsletter with outreach to all stakeholders (faculty, industry, students, MSMEs, etc.) as an outreach initiative.
  • Collaboration of News Items: Collate relevant news items/articles for every edition.
  • Advertisement Identification: Identify and mobilize potential partners to take up advertisements for being published in the eduwrap.
