About the Position:

The Sr. Analyst is accountable for developing strategic price test plans, providing data-driven price change recommendations, and performing ad-hoc work in support of pricing efforts.

  • Responsible for offering cluster-specific data analysis, including development and deployment of necessary dashboards, reporting, and insights.
  • Conduct research, design, and develop applicable statistical approaches/models to address specific business problems (Price Testing, Price Change, Post Mortem & Category review).
  • Design and develop processes to gather, explore, structure, enrich, and clean large datasets from various internal and external sources.
  • Leverage item role designation (Key Value Item (KVI), Head, Core & Tail) models in support of category and intent objectives to derive insights.
  • Develop scalable retail test processes and frameworks for experimental design, test vs control testing, baseline development, assessment, and recommendations.
  • Analyze competitor demographics and performance for pricing across key categories.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis for the pricing team.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations synthesizing multiple data sets to inform new decisions related to pricing.
  • Must possess a strong understanding of the business to provide effective solutions that meet customer needs and drive concepts from vision to completion with limited direction.
