Job Title: Senior Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our maintenance operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our plant.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Program Development: Create and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for plant equipment, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the department.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of Maintenance Engineers/Technicians for all maintenance activities undertaken in operational settings.
  • Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to identify potential problem areas and address them through planned interventions.
  • Issue Tracking: Monitor and track the resolution of issues reported by site heads.
  • Downtime Reduction: Minimize asset downtime and optimize resource usage, such as manpower, energy, fuel, and inventory.
  • Departmental Management: Manage daily activities of the Maintenance department to reduce and eliminate downtime through structured maintenance programs.
  • Compliance Support: Provide support to ensure cost-effective compliance with environmental and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Develop and manage inventory, spares requirements, and Management Information systems, along with creating monthly reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering with 18-25 years of experience in Maintenance within the Manufacturing industry and 10 years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Technical and supervisory experience in handling ETP/Boiler/Refrigeration/HVAC/Electrical HT & LT systems/MHEs/Dryer/Cooker/Crusher/Packaging equipment, and machinery.
  • Facility maintenance experience, including buildings and related systems.
  • Knowledge of mechanical safety practices, food processing equipment, and ability to read, develop, and alter schematic diagrams, equipment, and architectural drawings.
  • Strong communication skills, team leading skills, and willingness to travel.
  • Able to modify plant layouts to enhance efficiency or accommodate new equipment and possess knowledge of 5S, TPM, ERP systems, PPT, MS Word, Excel.
