
Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our users.
Your primary focus will be on resolving hardware and software issues, as well as implementing and maintaining various systems and applications.
In this role, you will work closely with our IT Manager to ensure seamless integration with the wider business.

Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and remote desktop
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner
- Implement and maintain Windows Server, Linux OS, and other IT systems and applications
- Administer and support various software packages, including Microsoft Exchange
- Ensure all tickets worked include detailed problem descriptions, solutions, and user satisfaction ratings
- Previous experience in a helpdesk or technical support role
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and phone etiquette skills
- Enthusiasm for helping others and a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Strong English speaking skills and ability to communicate complex technical information effectively
- Proficiency in Windows Server (all versions), Microsoft Exchange, Linux OS, and SQL
- Experience with remote support tools and technologies
- Good understanding of networks, including DHCP and DNS
