Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support and configuration across various banking and securities platforms.

  • You will act as a liaison between different teams and make decisions on behalf of multiple entities, subject to the same remit and level of authority.
  • Responsibilities include providing technical support for applications, releases, and infrastructure, including working hours and overnight shifts.
  • Participate in collaborative efforts with neighboring technology and project teams to ensure seamless changes are rolled out.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Experience with vendor applications such as Smartstream Cash Management (CMS) version 4, Control Process Designer, and Smart Schema.
  • Familiarity with database concepts, Linux shell scripting, and Oracle SQL scripting.
  • Knowledge of JBoss 8 server configuration and support, JMS Queue processing principles, and GitHub software management.
  • Ability to package and manage configuration/code changes into releases and apply to production.
