Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing remote technical and application problem resolution assistance related to Aspect products. This includes diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex computer systems and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Excellent Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service and teamwork skills with a professional demeanor to maintain and enhance customer relationships.
  • Gather Knowledge: Gain knowledge of assigned customers' technical and business environments.
  • Document and Verify Problems: Document and verify reported problems to ensure accurate issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve issues using available tools, resources, and documentation.
  • Engage Additional Resources: Engage additional resources when necessary to ensure prompt issue resolution.
  • Communicate Effectively: Provide consistent communication to management, peers, and account teams in support of customers.
  • Product Knowledge: Working knowledge of main Aspect products and strategy is essential.

Ideal Experience:

  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of PCs, networks, OS platforms, cloud environments, databases, telephony, software applications, and ACDs.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to learn complex software tools quickly and develop resolutions to problems of limited scope.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service and teamwork skills are required.
  • Professional Concepts: Ability to use professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve routine problems.

Qualifications:

  • Work Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant work experience or commensurate college-level coursework.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work early AM or late hours, including weekends may be required.
