Job Title: Strategic Operations Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Manager to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of the business, cost drivers, and other functions of the organization through data-driven trend analysis for operational metrics. You will focus on improving the shape of the Profit and Loss statement while highlighting key insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and implementing processes for new initiatives and improving existing ones with a focus on governance and cost leakage.
  2. Preparing, managing, and publishing business scorecards and Management Information Systems (MIS).
  3. Reconciling MIS and book of accounts to close Monthly MIS.
  4. Stakeholder management and working closely with the Controllership and Business Finance team.
  5. Ensuring weekly dashboards are completed for weekly and monthly reviews.
  6. Assisting with ad-hoc analysis on various projects as and when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of business operations, cost drivers, and financial planning.
  • Excellent Excel/Google Sheet skills.
  • Good business acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
