About Our Mission:

India's young people are increasingly disconnected. As cities urbanize, they spend more time indoors and online, less time meaningfully connecting.

We want to change this. We're building a platform and movement for young Indians to reconnect offline: reading books together, debating politics, brainstorming startups, volunteering, or finding genuine community.

The mission is clear: helping young Indians reconnect with each other meaningfully and offline.

Your Role:

As our Finance & Operations Head, you'll lead the financial strategy, fundraising, and operational scale-up of our platform.

You'll ensure we have the resources, systems, and processes to grow sustainably from Day 1.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Fundraising: Develop and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).
  • Lead fundraising: prepare investor materials, pitch decks, financial modelling, and investor relations.
  • Build robust financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.
  • Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
  • Marketplace Operations: Design and execute a marketplace operations playbook
  • Design operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.
  • Balance marketplace liquidity: ensuring enough hosts & events meet attendee demand.
  • Build trust & safety operations: dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.
  • Scaling & Partnerships: Oversee legal & compliance frameworks: contracts, NDAs, corporate structure, MCA compliance.
  • Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
  • Develop KPI dashboards: event volume, ticket sales, host retention, repeat attendance.
  • Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.

We're Looking For:

  • A strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
  • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is beneficial.
  • Comfort managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support.
  • A strategic thinker who can also execute early on.
  • A passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.
