As a seasoned professional, you will lead the global cross-functional bid team in developing winning proposals for turbo compressor packages. Your expertise will ensure that these proposals are technically correct, delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with product management and strategy teams to drive business growth.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage tender preparation, coordination, and tracking of complex turbo compressor projects for international customers in various industries.
  • Analyze customer requirements and translate them into competitive offers with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Design turbo compressors using technical calculation programs and check their feasibility.
  • Determine project costs and delivery times based on planned scope of delivery.
  • Monitor project status and facilitate communication between teams and departments.
  • Conduct project negotiations and represent quotations to customers.
  • Hand over orders to project management and engineering departments.
  • Develop unique selling propositions for opportunities through conceptual solution development and project screening.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy industry, preferably with turbo machines.
  • Experience in developing winning proposals for integrally geared compression projects.
  • Deep knowledge of integrally geared compressors is an advantage.
  • Strong team building and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated success in managing global customer bases.
  • Cultural sensitivity and collaboration skills.
