Bid Manager for Turbo Compressor Packages

The role of Bid Manager for Turbo Compressor Packages involves leading a global cross-functional team in the development of winning proposals. The successful candidate will ensure that proposals are technically correct, delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage winning proposals for turbo compressor packages
  • Collaborate with engineers and businesspeople to analyze customer requirements and translate them into competitive offers
  • Design and develop turbo compressors using technical calculation programs
  • Check the technical feasibility of machine concepts and identify project risks or opportunities
  • Determine costs and delivery times for scope of delivery
  • Maintain project status and ensure target-oriented communication within the project team and cooperating specialist departments
  • Conduct project negotiations and represent quotations to customers
  • Hand over orders to project management and engineering departments
  • Drive conceptual solution development to develop unique selling propositions for business opportunities
  • Manage internal network with Project Management, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the energy industry preferably with turbo machines
  • Experience in developing winning proposals for integrally geared compression projects
  • Deep product knowledge of integrally geared compressors is an advantage
  • Strong team building skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated success in managing sophisticated global customer base
  • Global cultural sensitivity while working with a diverse team
  • High collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in an international network
About This Role

This role reports into Head of Bid Management AP for Integrally Geared Compression and is responsible for managing the internal network with Product Management and Strategy.
