Job Purpose:

The Job Purpose is to lead the strategic direction and growth of the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business segment, driving revenue, customer acquisition, and service. The ideal candidate will develop and execute innovative business strategies to create exceptional user experiences and cultivate strong relationships with upscale merchants, ensuring market leadership in the hospitality service app industry.

Role And Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Execute the Overall D2C Business Strategy: Aligning with the company's vision and goals, the successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to drive product innovation, feature development, market expansion, and product support.
  2. Lead Cross-Functional Teams: The ideal candidate will identify and pursue strategic opportunities for revenue growth, including new market segments, product offerings, and initiatives to establish partnerships and alliances that enhance the D2C ecosystem.
  3. Own Product Level Profitability: Ensuring optimal allocation of budgets and monitoring various costs, including CAC, development costs, infrastructure costs, support costs, people costs, etc.
  4. Negotiate Agreements: With key stakeholders like merchants, technology partners, and institutions, while ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
  5. Oversee Customer Acquisition Initiatives: Leveraging digital marketing, user behavior, and user growth strategies; oversee customer retention programs to minimize churn rate and maximize lifetime value.
  6. Liaison with Technical Program Management Team: In prioritizing various feature enhancement and maintenance support.
  7. Define and Track KPIs: To measure the success of D2C business initiatives and present periodic business reports to TLC leadership and other stakeholders.
Desired Profile:

The desired profile includes a Bachelor's degree – BBA / B.Tech / B.Com, with a Master's Degree – MBA (Sales & Marketing, Information Management) being recommended. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have 12+ years of experience in business development with a strong understanding of D2C business models, preferably in hospitality and/or technology. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and mobile app development is essential, as well as proficiency in data analytics and market research tools. An understanding of B2B sales processes and D2C user growth methodologies is also required.
