We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services India Private Limited. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to build relationships with Venture Capital firms in India and drive adoption of Amazon Web Services among their portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities- Identify key Venture Capital firms with portfolio companies that have infrastructure needs and drive engagement with those organizations.
- Execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders, including sales teams, marketing, legal, and support.
- Work closely with Venture Capital firms and their portfolio companies to ensure they are successful using our web services and have the necessary technical resources.
- Implement and manage reporting systems to track the effectiveness of the efforts to target the companies in the portfolios of Venture Capital firms.
- 5+ years' experience as a senior management team member in a startup or equivalent experience in Venture Capital roles.
- Knowledge of core cloud computing concepts, including compute, storage, networking, databases, analytics, and higher-order services.
- Ability to go deep enough on technical aspects to differentiate among various AWS services and provide insights at the CXO level.
- Proven ability to build trust and bond at the CXO level of the most promising startups in the world.
