Job Title: Director of Financial Reporting Strategy

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our team as a Director of Financial Reporting Strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical accounting advisory services to clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical accounting advice to clients on complex accounting issues;
  • Conducting research on accounting topics and preparing technical memos;
  • Assisting clients with the implementation of new accounting standards;
  • Assisting clients with financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements;
  • Reviewing and analyzing client financial information and providing recommendations for improvement.

You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date on developments in accounting standards and regulations, and applying independent and objective professional judgment in applying accounting standards to meet engagement expectations.

In addition to your technical skills and knowledge, we are looking for candidates who possess strong domain expertise, project management skills, business development skills, and people skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A sound understanding of accounting concepts;
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary;
  • Experience of working in technical accounting/financial reporting; and
  • ~10+ years of relevant experience.
