Director of Financial Operations

The Financial Director plays a pivotal role in driving the company's financial strategy, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management & Strategy
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize cost, improve margins, and enhance profitability.
- Monitor financial performance against business objectives and provide insightful analysis for informed decision-making.
- Accounts & Reporting
- Ensure the preparation of comprehensive financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) within specified deadlines.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and lead the accounting team towards achieving exceptional performance.
- Compliance & Audit
- Maintain strict adherence to statutory requirements, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC filings, and other applicable laws.
- Treasury & Working Capital Management
- Optimize cash flows, manage banking operations, and utilize funds efficiently.
- Cost Control & MIS
- Implement effective cost accounting systems and monitor production-related costs for optimal resource utilization.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor the accounts & finance team, fostering skill development and high performance.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Experience: 8 - 15 years post CA qualification experience in Accounts & Finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in manufacturing
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, statutory compliance, cost control, and treasury management
