Job Title – Chief Operations Director

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to drive our manufacturing business forward in mechanical engineering solutions.

The Chief Operations Director will be responsible for defining the company's strategic direction, driving operational excellence, ensuring financial growth, and positioning the business as a leader in the global market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement the company's long-term vision and growth roadmap, ensuring alignment with industry trends and competitor analysis.
  • Lead product innovation through technology adoption and R&D in mechanical engineering, resulting in new revenue streams and increased market share.
  • Identify and expand into new domestic and international markets, leveraging market research and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity in all manufacturing operations, implementing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with industry, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring regulatory adherence and minimizing risk exposure.
  • Own and deliver the P&L, budgets, and financial forecasts, providing accurate and timely financial reporting to inform business decisions.
  • Drive revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability through data-driven decision making and strategic resource allocation.
  • Develop new revenue streams by identifying opportunities for expansion, diversification, or partnerships.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through exceptional service, proactive communication, and tailored solutions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing executive and management team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development, investing in employee training, skills development, and succession strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors on strategic decision-making, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Represent the company as an industry leader in mechanical engineering, promoting our values, mission, and vision to stakeholders and customers alike.
  • Evaluate performance against measurable outcomes, including financial metrics, operational efficiency, market and business growth, innovation and R&D, people and culture, and sustainability and compliance.

The Chief Operations Director's success will be measured by their ability to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
