
Government Sales Director

Drive sales growth and team development through strategic leadership, sales management, and government strategy creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Government Sales team to achieve sales targets, growth in profits, and expansion of markets revenue generation.
- Develop and execute business development strategies and plans both short and long term.
- Identify and manage early opportunities, engage with key stakeholders, and steer the organization towards success.
- Competitively engage with government departments, agencies, and large business aggregators.
- Implement strategies to ensure 100% presence across all emerging business opportunities within identified verticals.
- Apply go-to-market models and tactical approaches to grow profitable government engagements and revenue base.
- Mentor and design sales training programs, leveraging individual skills and collective talents for making winning proposals.
- Manage sales teams for effective market penetration and revenue generation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, preferably from a premier institute.
- 10+ years of experience in IT Sales Government Vertical dealing in software, hardware, networking, security, cloud, data center solutions.
- Well-connected with OEMs in server storage, networking, security, and cloud domains.
- Technical understanding of technology, IT products, cloud, data center, SI, web hosting, cloud migrations, and deployment.
- Proven hands-on experience on any cloud platform, including GCP, AWS, AZURE, IBM, ORACLE.
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including cloud computing services.
- Passion for growing businesses, excellent team handling, mentoring, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
