Job Description:

Innovatiview India Ltd, under its GetITRent vertical, is looking for a Government IT Sales Executive to drive business growth in the IT hardware and software rental domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government IT sales, with a preference for those experienced in IT hardware/software sales.

Role & responsibilities

  • Identify and develop business opportunities with government organizations and PSU clients
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation to closing deals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in government agencies
  • Respond to tenders, RFPs, and RFQs, ensuring compliance with procurement guidelines
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts and delivery of IT hardware/software rentals
  • Stay updated on government procurement policies, e-marketplace (GeM), and industry trends
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years in government IT sales. Experience in IT hardware/software sales is a plus
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Procurement Processes: Familiarity with government e-marketplaces (GeM), tendering processes, and vendor registrations
  • Communication & Negotiation: Strong ability to engage with government clients, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts
  • Networking: Established connections with government departments and PSUs will be an advantage
