We are seeking a highly skilled Institutional Payment Specialist to join our strategic consulting team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with banking clients to understand their strategic goals, operational challenges, and digital transformation needs. This will involve gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis.

The specialist will translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories for development teams, leveraging domain expertise in solution design, high-value payment schemes, cross-border payment frameworks, and business understanding of the custody value chain.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Domain Expertise: Solution Design
  • High Value Payment Schemes like Target 2, Fedwire, CHIPS, SEPA, CHAPS etc.
  • Cross-Border Payment Framework
  • Business understanding of the custody value chain
  • ISO 20022
  • Understanding of core payment engines like Volpay, GPP, RPH etc.
  • Deep understanding of accounting setups across the payment value chain
  • Deep understanding of the settlement mechanisms like DvP, PvP etc.

The specialist will support activities such as user acceptance testing (UAT), system configuration, process mapping, and change management, while assisting in developing key project artifacts including BRDs, FRDs, SOPs, training manuals, and status reports.
