Job Title: Insurance Operations Specialist
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Insurance Operations Specialist.
This is a dynamic role that involves end-to-end back office services for Insurance Broking Accounts, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform credit control functions to maintain accurate cash allocation and settlement.
- Reconcile cash and payment transactions, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage client and insurer statement reconciliation, ensuring timely settlements and accurate financial records.
- Collect premiums and return premiums, including reminders to brokers, account executives, insured parties, and insurers.
- Follow up on unmatched cash, uncollected debt, and queries preventing settlement with stakeholders.
As an Insurance Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for making payments to clients, brokers, insured parties, insurers, and third parties, adhering to the approved payment process.
Additionally, you will collect funded balances, manage Payment Processing Center (PPC) and Payment Processing Workflow (PPW) ownership, and ensure compliance with FCA client money rules.
Requirements:- 1-2 years of experience in insurance, accounting, or a related financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of insurance processes and operations.
- Experience in credit control and cash allocation, accounts payable, and account reconciliation.
- Graduate/Post Graduate degree or equivalent qualification.
- Insurance or accounting industry qualification is an added advantage.
