Insurance Operations Specialist Role

As an Insurance Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with partner insurers and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs). You will serve as the primary point of contact for insurers regarding endorsements and operational queries.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong understanding of insurance endorsements and related workflows. A minimum of 4 years of experience in relationship management, insurance operations, or a similar role is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with partner insurers and TPAs to ensure seamless operations.
  • Operational Queries: Respond promptly and effectively to insurer-related queries, providing timely solutions to meet their needs.
  • Endorsement Processing: Ensure efficient processing of endorsements, tracking pending cases to closure, and collaborating with internal teams to provide necessary documentation.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor key performance metrics for endorsements, such as turnaround times and error rates, proposing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a small team of Insurer Relationship Managers, managing their workflow, and providing regular updates to leadership on endorsement status and insurer performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in relationship management, insurance operations, or a similar role.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in English and Hindi.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with health insurance (B2B) and complete knowledge on endorsements, proficiency in using Excel, and working with software/tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for monitoring performance and generating reports, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, ability to build trust and foster collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
