Job Purpose:

Responsible for the overall backend process of insurance operations including follow up for all insurance related pending tasks and coordinate with internal & external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Maintain all insurance data in effective manner and keep records of all important information.

Responsibilities

  • Handling office work, phone calls including customer calls and communications like letter formulation, reports and compilation of minutes of meetings.
  • Preparing presentations for important meetings, maintaining important files both in hard and soft form
  • Compilation of data, using the data to draw logical conclusions etc.
  • Record keeping and Data Management
  • Follow up with insurance brokers for underwriting and claims pending tasks
  • Incident reporting & Claim Intimation to broker.
  • Initiate claim registration & surveyor appointment, spot survey, arrange documentation as per list of requirement (LOR), claim assessment & getting final survey report, receipt of discharge Voucher up to final amount
  • Inclination towards learning Insurance concepts and active participation in various insurance matters

Experience:

  • 0-3 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing industry.
  • Working knowledge of Fire & burglary insurance
  • Working knowledge insurance operations processes.
  • Working knowledge in MS Office

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Certification in Insurance from III – LIII (Good to have)

  • Learning ability, team player

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure proper data management
  • Timely follow up for pending tasks
  • Maintain policy copies and claim files accurately

KPIs:

  • Proper record keeping and data management
  • Ensure timely claim process and follow up at each stage of claim till the settlement of claim
  • Timely follow up with brokers and insurance companies for all pending tasks
  • Handle office work with responsibility and create minutes of meeting as and when required
  • Learn new things related to insurance.
  • Prepare repair estimate based on the incident reports.
