Staff4Me is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payables Specialist to join our finance team. As a Payables Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and managing accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers. This is a critical role in our organization as you will play a key part in maintaining our financial processes and fostering good relationships with our business partners.

Responsibilities
  • Process and review invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests for accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Verify and reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring they are made in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounts payable processes.

Requirements

Requirements
  • With 3 years relevant work experience
  • Prior experience in accounts payable or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet payment deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
