Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing the payment process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments. This role involves working closely with sales teams to resolve discrepancies and issues related to charges, payments, credits, or balances.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in account management, payment processing, verification, and application. They should be proficient in Salesforce CRM, CPQ, and Billing, as well as Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist sales partners and customers in making payment arrangements.
  • Communicate with various audiences regarding discrepancies in charges, payments, credits, or balances.
  • Monitor and maintain payment schedules when notified of changed orders.
  • Respond to customer and field requests to obtain payment and payment methods.
  • Regular review of unallocated payments, credits, and debits.
  • Complete account reconciliations.
  • Submit and follow up on payment moves, credits, & refunds within assigned accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Prior knowledge of Salesforce CRM, CPQ, & Billing preferred.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office Applications, with a focus on Excel.
  • Proven skillset in basic math.
  • College experience preferred, with a focus on accounting or business administration.
  • 2+ years account management or payment processing, verification & application experience.
