Employee Relations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Employee Relations Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive work environment through employee engagement and culture building initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understand, investigate, and resolve any employee relations issue to achieve agreements and settle conflicts.
  2. Monitor organization culture and values, implement policy and procedures, and provide internal consulting services.
  3. Lead the implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  4. Establish lines of control and delegate responsibilities.
  5. Partner with business units and external bodies to achieve company objectives.

Requirements:

  • Full-time MBA from a reputable institution.
  • Proven track record of handling complex issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, empathetic, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and facilitation skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and ability to deliver pragmatic solutions.
  • Flexibility and ability to multitask.

About the Role:

This is a front-facing profile that requires interaction with local authorities on a need-basis. An understanding of the local language would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities in Detail:

  1. Employee Engagement and Culture Building: Create a positive work environment through various initiatives such as health and wellness interventions, emotional support mechanisms, and counseling.
  2. Conflict Resolution and Grievance Handling: Resolve employee relations issues, handle workplace grievances, conduct disciplinary investigations, and provide employee feedback mechanisms.
  3. Organization Culture and Values: Monitor organization culture and values, implement policy and procedures, and act as an internal consultant/advisor.
  4. Emergency Response: Ensure timely emergency response within guidelines, policies, and norms.
