Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Reservations Coordinator to join our team and help us deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming/outgoing client calls, effectively convert inquiries into bookings, and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets by leveraging sales strategies and negotiation skills.

  • Identify opportunities to expand business from existing customer accounts through targeted marketing efforts and strategic communication.

  • Maintain accurate records in the Central Reservation System, create new reservations, update customer information, manage advance payments/balance receivable, and ensure seamless transactions.

  • Develop and implement effective OTA (Online Travel Agency) marketing/promotion plans to increase visibility and drive sales.

  • Proactively identify new revenue generation opportunities to contribute to personal and property revenue goals.

  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor analysis, economic conditions, supply and demand, and develop persuasive arguments to overcome obstacles and close deals.

  • Engage with social media travel-related groups to generate leads and connect with potential customers, and schedule site visits for prospective clients.

  • Update inquiry records, track sales performance for both online and offline channels, prepare daily check-in/check-out schedules, and share them with the Operations team for efficient site preparation.

  • Collect and maintain customer data, including contact details, balance payments receivable, extra charges, additional services rendered, and ensure timely collection and updates at check-in/check-out.

  • Monitor monthly inquiries through various channels for sales analysis and provide actionable insights to inform future business decisions.

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on leads and conversions to stakeholders.

  • Conduct research and gather intelligence on competitors' offerings, and keep management informed of new developments.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new sales channels and partnerships that can drive growth and innovation.

Qualifications & Experience
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a front office/reservations department, preferably in a hotel setting.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with English language proficiency being essential.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel is mandatory.
