**Fixed Income Portfolio Manager Role Opportunity**About this exceptional opportunity:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager position. This is a chance for a self-driven, financially adept professional with an interest in banking to apply their expertise and contribute to the industry.
  1. Calculating Yield to Maturity (YTM) and assessing returns on various types of fixed-income securities will be a key responsibility.
  2. Determining Present Value (PV) of securities and evaluating market pricing strategies will also be part of the role.
  3. Comparing investment options such as corporate bonds, fixed deposits, and mutual funds will require a thorough analysis.
Quantitative & AI-based Financial Modelling: This area of responsibility involves developing financial models in Excel, Python, or R to assess risk and return metrics, implementing AI-driven approaches for analyzing credit risk and probability of default, and working on Value at Risk (VaR) simulations and machine learning models for risk assessment.Debt Market & Credit Research: Analyze corporate bond spreads, relative valuations, and structured finance instruments, conduct data cleaning and visualization for sovereign credit research and CDS time series data, and assist in the structuring and evaluation of project finance and asset-backed securities.Technology & Automation in Finance: Understand Microsoft Excel AI tools for financial modelling, develop and test AI models for credit derivatives and portfolio risk assessment, and work on FinTech tools like Virtual Risk Analyser and Virtual Portfolio Analyser.Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Financial analysis and modeling.
  • Programming skills in Python, R, or Excel.
