Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Desk Specialist to provide first-level technical support to end-users.

The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts with a maximum of six months' experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person
  • Assessing and qualifying requests
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and peripherals

Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to:

  • Process and execute demands/resolve incidents following established procedures
  • Record, track, and document incidents/service requests using the ticketing system
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or other appropriate teams when necessary

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or Mac operating systems
  • Knowledge of common office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-oriented with a friendly and patient demeanor
