Job Title:

Computer Hardware Support Specialist

About the Role:

This position involves providing technical assistance to users across various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, software applications, and networking fundamentals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Offer first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
  • Configure and set up new user systems, including imaging, software installation, user profiles, and access permissions
  • Maintain inventory of assets and ensure accurate tracking
  • Support IT infrastructure, including LAN, VPN, printers, and shared drives
  • Collaborate with vendors for hardware repair or replacement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, or Technical Support
  • Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with macOS, basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and remote desktop tools
  • Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, and system imaging tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills
