Senior Azure DevOps Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure DevOps Expert to drive the development and implementation of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure and a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing DevOps pipelines and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • DevOps Strategy and Implementation: Develop and implement DevOps strategies and best practices across the organization, ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Design: Design and build efficient CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS) to automate deployment, scaling, and management of applications in Azure.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, and Ansible to manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployment of infrastructure components.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance and availability, and optimize existing systems to improve performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards, including identity and access management using Azure Active Directory (AAD).

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles with a focus on Azure, with proven expertise in Azure DevOps (VSTS), Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Azure services and architecture, proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.), and experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent certifications preferred.
