Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) specialist to support the development and maintenance of cloud infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking.

  • Create, configure, and manage OCI Storage service resources such as Block Volumes, Object Storage Buckets, and File Storage Service.
  • Maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure tenancy with optimal performance and security.
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, network, and security services.
  • Understand purpose of firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and SSL technologies for secure access and data protection.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues to both non-technical and technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess existing technology landscape and current On-Premise workloads.
  • Develop migration strategies to move databases to IaaS/PaaS platforms.
  • Manage cloud VMs, networks, and security resources effectively.
  • Provide support for end-user access issues, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis, single sign-on, and Oracle IDCS, Access Management.
Requirements:
  • 4 to 8 years of total IT experience.
  • 3 years of relevant OCI experience.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure services, including compute, storage, and networking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Microservices architecture, including Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Database, MySQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, OKE.
