Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

The Cloud Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-agnostic infrastructure using services in AWS and Azure. Key areas of focus include:

  • Infrastructure Design: Design scalable and secure cloud infrastructure that meets business needs.
  • Implementation: Implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Terraform, Pulumi, Cloudformation, and Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Requirements:

To be successful as a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will need:

  • Foundational Knowledge: Have foundational knowledge of pipelines, CI/CD, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and a basic understanding of IP/subnetting, networking, and troubleshooting Linux/Windows.
  • Cloud Services: Possess experience with EC2, S3, Route53, RDS, IaaS, EKS, and Atlassian tooling.
  • Certificates: Be able to issue, renew, and deploy SSL and code signing certificates.
  • Security Practices: Have a good understanding of proper security practices related to infrastructure, password management, and access control.
