Job Title: Product Lead Marine Underwriter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Lead Marine Underwriter to join our team. As a Product Lead Marine Underwriter, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth in the marine underwriting space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments of maritime assets, including ships, cargo, and marine infrastructure, to determine accurate premiums and coverage limits.
  • Data Analysis: Compile and analyze data from various sources, such as weather reports, shipping routes, and historical loss records, to inform underwriting decisions.
  • Policy Negotiation: Collaborate with insurance brokers and agents to negotiate and draft insurance policies that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting: Provide detailed reports and documentation on underwriting decisions and risk evaluations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Any graduate degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
