Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and underwrite SME insurance products including Fire, Burglary, Marine, Engineering, Liability, and Miscellaneous policies.
- Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support in pitching and presenting insurance solutions to prospective and existing clients.
- Design customized insurance programs based on client risk profiles.
- Use digital and technical tools to prepare impactful proposals, comparisons, and presentations. Liaise with insurers for competitive quotes, terms, and underwriting approvals.
- Ensure all underwriting activities comply with IRDAI guidelines and company processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and industry stakeholders.
- Support business expansion through knowledge-driven marketing and technical presentations.

Key Requirements:

- Minimum 36 years of experience in Commercial Lines / SME insurance underwriting.
- Strong knowledge of EB & Non-EB products.
- Proficiency in insurance portals, quoting tools, and presentation software.
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
- Ability to translate technical insurance concepts into clear, client-friendly proposals.
- Strong network within the insurance industry.
