Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Desktop Support Specialist.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and exceptional communication skills to provide top-notch support to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating System Management: Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems across various devices.
- Hardware Maintenance: Assemble, upgrade, and repair computer hardware to ensure optimal performance.
- Software Support: Install, configure, backup, and troubleshoot standard applications including Microsoft Office.
- Network Services: Install and troubleshoot network printers; VPN and firewall configuration.
- Security Measures: Manage BitLocker encryption, antivirus updates, and virus protection to safeguard sensitive data.
- Active Directory Administration: Create user accounts, reset passwords, update group policies, and control access.
- Remote Assistance: Provide remote support for software and system-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Asset Management: Coordinate with vendors for hardware issues and maintain inventory records for hardware and software assets.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of operating systems, hardware, and software.
