**Job Title:** Area Sales Officer
The primary objective of this role is to drive sales growth and exceed performance targets in designated regions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies, tactics, and plans that align with business objectives. Collaborate with the Technical Support Team to optimize site visits and leverage their expertise for maximum trade/non-trade sales.
- Maintain strong relationships with Real Estate agents, dealers, construction companies, and end customers to secure repeat orders and focus on long-term retention.
- E nsure prompt resolution of customer grievances to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular surveys of existing and prospective customers at the grassroots level within the district to estimate market size for the business year. Foster good relations with contractors and utilize concept selling techniques to highlight DCBL's quality, prices, and services.
- Execute weekly plans, map existing territories, and identify new areas to maximize sales in the region.
- Create district-specific local campaigns, marketing plans, and effective techniques to generate product awareness and drive sales. Plan and execute site visits to create a strong push in the market for DCBL's products.
- Utilize CRM software for enhanced visibility, monitoring, performance evaluation, and course correction as needed.
- Monitor fluctuations in sales targets and take preventive/corrective measures to address them.
- Regularly monitor BTL inventory levels at dealer shops (Point of purchase/sale) and report to the Marketing team as per timelines/plan so that the same can be arranged/procured.
- Pursue innovation in selling techniques by adopting new technologies and methods such as cross-selling, sales recording, invoice generation applications/portable machines, social media, etc.
- Generate new leads periodically and ensure regular pitching to them on existing as well as upcoming products.
- Foster initiation and sensitization of employees towards digitization and automation of processes.
- Focus on utilizing advanced business analytics tools to derive key insights critical for the organization's success.
- Self/Team Development: Seek requisite developmental support/inputs from leadership and strive for self-development—both functional and behavioral. Undergo training as required for team development. Update personal knowledge base to cater to the organization's needs.
- Educational Qualification: MBA/PGDM in Sales/Marketing
- Specific Certification: (If required)
