Sales Lead
BiteSpeed is a Sequoia-backed SaaS startup revolutionizing the marketing, support, and sales landscape for e-commerce brands. As a Sales Lead, you will be at the forefront of driving growth and revenue for our company.
Location: Bangalore
Estimated Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
This role involves leading our high-velocity mid-market India sales vertical, which is the bread and butter of the business. You will report directly to our CEO and manage an outbound calling team and inside sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to own revenue targets for our fastest-growing segment and do everything it takes to overachieve those numbers.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Own overall mid-market India new revenue targets and drive them to achieve exceptional results.
• Manage an outbound team of business development representatives to set up meetings and appointments.
• Oversee a team of inside sales account executives to close revenue and ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
• Monitor and implement sales commission plans, CRM processes, and other revenue operations to optimize performance.
• Own quality and pitch monitoring for cold calls and sales demos to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
• Develop and execute sales planning and forecasting strategies, monitor funnels, and reporting dashboards to inform data-driven decisions.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
• 5+ years of sales experience, preferably with exposure to SaaS companies.
• A track record of managing high-velocity sales motions and achieving exceptional results.
• A passion for business and sales, with a willingness to get your hands dirty to drive growth and revenue.
• Comfort with early-stage startups and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Extremely high agency and adaptability to make things happen and drive results.
