Sales Growth Expert for Food Ordering Platform

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Growth Expert to join our team at WhatsYum, a fast-growing startup revolutionizing the food ordering space. As a Sales Growth Expert, you will be responsible for driving sales growth for our WhatsApp-based food ordering platform, helping restaurants save commissions on online orders.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English (mandatory) and proficiency in Kannada and Hindi is preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or relationship management, specifically with restaurants, is required. Strong understanding of POS systems and food ordering processes, as well as the F&B industry, is necessary. Experience with field sales for PetPooja POS or similar POS systems is highly preferred.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving sales for WhatsYum's WhatsApp Food Ordering Platform
- Demonstrating our product to restaurant owners and managers
- Negotiating commission rates and closing sales deals to onboard restaurants successfully
You will also be responsible for:
- Oversight of the end-to-end onboarding process, including documentation and agreements
- Serving as the single point of contact for restaurants, resolving any issues related to orders
- Meeting and exceeding monthly restaurant onboarding targets
In addition, you will:
- Maintain strong relationships with partner restaurants through regular visits
- Develop and maintain a verified network of restaurant relationships in Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of POS systems and food ordering processes
- Experience with field sales for PetPooja POS or similar POS systems is highly preferred
Compensation includes a fixed salary based on relevant experience, as well as variable pay in the form of a bonus of ₹500 per restaurant onboarded above the monthly target of 25 restaurants. You must own a vehicle and laptop.
