Corporate Lawyer

We are seeking an accomplished Corporate Lawyer with a strong background in IT services and consulting. The role involves providing expert legal guidance on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters, ensuring compliance, and supporting business operations with risk-mitigated solutions.

Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor agreements. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, employment, and regulatory matters, support business teams in client negotiations, and ensure compliance with data protection, IT laws, and international regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

The ideal candidate will have a LLB/LLM from a recognized institution, at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, preferably in IT services or consulting organizations. Strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation with international clients is required, as well as familiarity with data privacy, intellectual property, labor, and employment laws.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment is also crucial.

Requirements:
  • LLB/LLM from a recognized institution.
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, preferably in IT services or consulting organizations.
  • Strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation with international clients.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, intellectual property, labor, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a mid-to-large IT services/consulting company.
  • Exposure to multi-jurisdictional contracts and cross-border legal issues.
  • Membership in a Bar Council / Corporate Legal Association is a plus.
