Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Developer to join our team.

  • Tech Lead and Architect of backend systems using Node.js, ensuring scalability, high-performance services, and seamless integration with front-end technologies like React + Vite.
  • Design, build, and optimize APIs, microservices, and integrations, working closely with cross-functional teams for flawless execution.
  • Develop deep expertise in MongoDB for data modeling, schema design, performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to define interfaces, data contracts, and integrate front-end/backend solutions.
  • Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices and documentation standards.
  • Participate in architectural decisions, trade-offs, and mentor junior team members to foster growth and development.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

  • Backend: Proficiency in Node.js, Express, building and maintaining robust backend services in production.
  • Database: Strong experience with MongoDB: schema design, indexing, querying, scaling, and performance optimisation.
  • Frontend Collaboration: Familiarity with front-end technologies like React (with Vite), understanding of how backend & frontend interact.
  • Cloud / Deployment: Experience with AWS: setting up environments, deployment pipelines, monitoring, security.
  • Architecture & Scaling: Experience with microservices, distributed systems, handling high traffic, fault tolerance.
