Job Title: Assistant Manager – Backend Engineering

Location: Thane West

Experience Required: 4-7 years in backend software development, cloud-native architecture, and business process automation.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Backend Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend systems for high-growth applications. The role involves working with Golang, PHP, AWS, GCP, and modern development frameworks to deliver secure, high-performing, and reliable solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building microservices, REST APIs, and business process automation across diverse domains such as E-commerce, MarTech, Logistics, and Enterprise Applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead backend architecture, development, and deployment of scalable systems using Golang, PHP, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend infrastructure to support high-availability applications.
  • Manage and optimize large-scale MySQL and MariaDB databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
  • Implement caching strategies, asynchronous processing flows, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs, messaging systems (Pub/Sub, Redis), and push/email notification services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Frontend) for feature planning, release management, and code reviews.
  • Drive business process automation for ERP, LMS, UMS, and PMS systems.
  • Document technical flows, onboarding guides, and API contracts for developer enablement.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Programming Languages: Golang, PHP (Laravel, CodeIgniter), Shell Scripting
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, CloudFront, Redis), GCP (Cloud Run, Pub/Sub)
  • Frameworks & Architecture: REST API, MVC, Microservices
  • Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
  • Databases: MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • DevOps Tools: Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Monitoring & Logging: AWS CloudWatch, GCP Logs
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills

Educational Qualification:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Applications (MCA)
  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

Preferred Domain Experience:

  • IT Technology, E-commerce, Media & Entertainment, Learning Management Systems, User Management Systems, Education, Training Management Systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹70,000.00 per month
