Senior Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Node.js (NestJS framework preferred) and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of GraphQL API design and implementation. This role requires the ability to architect, optimize, and scale backend systems on Azure Container Apps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust backend applications using Node.js (NestJS) and TypeScript.
  • Design and implement complex GraphQL APIs and multiple system integrations.
  • Architect, optimize, and scale backend systems on Azure Container Apps.
  • Implement event-driven, real-time systems with WebSocket connections.
  • Ensure high-quality code with 90-95% unit test coverage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in backend engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js (NestJS framework preferred).
  • Proficiency in TypeScript with a focus on scalable architecture.
  • Hands-on experience in GraphQL API design, implementation, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Azure cloud (Container Apps, scaling, performance tuning).
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI integrations and OCR pipelines.
  • Proven background in monolithic and microservices architectures.
