Backend Architectural Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Architect to spearhead our team's efforts in building scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and services utilizing Python and Django frameworks.

  • Design and lead the development of backend systems focusing on scalability and security standards.
  • Create and maintain RESTful APIs with high performance and security standards.
  • Implement best practices for security, authentication, and data protection protocols.
  • Optimize system performance and scalability metrics.
  • Manage cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver feature-rich solutions.
  • Mentor and coach backend developers, conduct code reviews, and establish technical guidelines.
  • Promote adoption of CI/CD, automated testing, and software engineering best practices.

Necessary Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4+ years of backend development experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in Python and Django framework.
  • Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed systems architecture.
  • Experience with cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Traits:

  • Familiarity with AI/ML integrations.
  • Experience with analytics tools and monitoring systems.
