Regional Growth Strategist

The Area Growth Manager role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the efficient distribution of products within designated regions.

  • Distribution Optimization
    • Develop and execute strategies for distributors, encompassing mapping, appointment, and operations.
    • Foster engagement among channel partners to adopt evolved business practices.
    • Analyze return on investment (ROI) for each distributor.
    • Establish processes for timely supply to retailers.
    • Manage inventory at both distributor and geography levels.
    • Implement guardrails for stock conditions.
    • Effectively manage secondary claims.
  • Growth Enhancement
    • Oversee secondary and primary management of the geography.
    • Monitor quarterly and monthly sales progressions.
    • Ensure weekly sales targets are met.
    • Guarantee availability of all product SKUs.
    • Drive new product development and growth.
    • Manage Customer Facing Activities (CFA) and sales operations.
    • Evaluate key distribution metrics.
    • Benchmark competition in the region.
    • Track competition trends in the area.
  • Expense Management
    • Develop a region-specific approach tailored to each geography's needs.
    • Create trade load plans to boost volume and visibility.
    • Effectively manage sales returns.
  • Team Leadership
    • Foster a positive work environment across the region.
    • Track expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness in the region.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements for the role:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and distribution within the FMCG industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the region.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
