Accounting Leadership Role

Key responsibilities for this senior leadership position include strategic planning and implementation of record-to-report accounting processes. The successful candidate will possess exceptional expertise in these areas, with a deep understanding of the business landscape, market trends, and industry dynamics.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding ability to forge strong partnerships across the organization to provide insights and guidance to cross-functional teams. This includes effective communication and cooperation to ensure seamless execution of R2R activities.

Additional key qualifications include core R2R controllership experience for large organizations, leading transitions and transformations, digital finance expertise, and managing senior stakeholders in US and Europe. The successful candidate must be CA or CPA qualified with 10 years of experience, including 3-5 years in accounting leadership roles.

Responsibilities include actively influencing the identification of continuous improvement opportunities, managing ad-hoc projects initiated by Controllership leadership, and assisting with drafting desktop procedures as part of transition efforts in the first 6-12 months.

Additionally, the role involves serving as an inspirational and engaging leader who motivates and engages team members through clear articulation of R2R process-related priorities. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with BMS Finance senior leadership is also crucial.

This leadership role requires identifying and managing training and upskilling of local team members, holding self and others to timelines, quality, and accuracy, and articulating material risks and opportunities to take an active role in designing and executing response or contingency plans.
