Job Title: Associate Director
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and in-depth knowledge of indirect tax laws and regulations.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling engagements related to indirect tax litigation, appeals, and representation before various forums. They will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on strategic issues. The Associate Director will also lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services to clients, focusing on indirect tax laws, customs, service tax, VAT, and excise.Key Accountabilities:
  • Partnering and Building Relationships: The Associate Director will act as a trusted business advisor, partnering with clients to understand their needs and providing expert advice on strategic issues.
  • Sound Commercial Acumen: The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of global trends, emerging industry issues, and best practices in indirect tax law. They will be able to proactively alert clients to changes in the business environment that may impact them.
  • Marketing & Business Development: The Associate Director will create and manage strong relationships with clients at senior levels, expanding the firm's business unit through new wins and conversions.
Leadership & Teamwork:
  • The Associate Director will take a leadership role where appropriate, creating a climate of high performance within the team. They will work effectively in cross-service-line engagements and be a role model, mentor, and coach to team members.

    Experience and Education:
    • A CA or Law Graduate from a reputable institution with a strong academic track record.
    • 4-7 years of post-qualification experience in indirect tax in the field of indirect tax litigation or advisory.
