Job Title: HR Support Specialist

This role plays a vital part in supporting the HR department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of HR policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Post job openings and screen resumes to ensure only qualified candidates progress to the interview stage.
    • Handle pre-joining documentation, background verification, and facilitate onboarding and induction of new employees.
  • Employee Records & Compliance:
    • Maintain and update accurate employee records, attendance, and HR databases.
    • Assist in payroll preparation with accurate leave and attendance data, while ensuring compliance with statutory laws and company policies.
  • Employee Engagement & Relations:
    • Organize engaging activities and events that promote a positive work culture.
    • Address employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Support in maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
  • Performance Management & Training:
    • Assist with performance appraisal processes, providing constructive feedback to support employee development.
    • Coordinate employee training sessions and maintain training records to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills.
  • General HR Support:
    • Draft HR letters, such as offer letters, confirmation letters, transfer letters, exit letters, etc., in a timely and professional manner.
    • Coordinate exit formalities, including clearance and final settlement, ensuring a seamless transition for departing employees.
    • Prepare HR reports for management, highlighting key statistics and trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR or administrative roles.
  • Basic knowledge of HR processes and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
