Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to support and assist operational teams in monitoring and processing financial events accurately and timely. The ideal candidate will ensure prompt follow-up on exception situations and facilitate timely problem resolution to mitigate risk.


About the Role

The Income COE Assistant Vice President will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies that support the company's overall business goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources effectively to achieve operational objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Deep Knowledge of Income and Corporate Actions: Understanding the end-to-end income cycle, fund accounting, amortization, concepts on bonds, dividends, entitlement calculations, and relevant regulations.
  • Strong Commercial Acumen: Ability to understand cost/budgets and lead/drive initiatives.
  • Executive Presence: Effective communication across stakeholder groups.
  • Risk Excellence Culture: Encourage and drive a culture of change and ideation.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Economics with a specialization in Business, Accounting, Finance or another Financial related program is required. 10-16 years of experience in accounting, finance, mutual fund operations, loan servicing or related careers is preferred.
