Business Development ManagerAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting business teams in drafting, vetting and negotiating agreements mainly relating to business development, international business, trusts and other activities.

The role involves advising on and structuring agreements to align with the deal in hand and ensure that the interests of the company are protected. You will work with stakeholders at various locations on statutory compliances to ensure necessary statutory compliances are in place.

Responsibilities
  • Drafting, structuring, vetting, negotiating and finalizing agreements in line with business understanding and ensuring appropriate risk mitigation for the company.
  • Reviewing statutory compliances at various locations and suggesting remedial measures. Working with concerned stakeholders to ensure remedial measures are put in place in a timely manner.
  • Understanding the business and analysing the risk involved and advising on mitigating liabilities for the company.
  • Advising stakeholders from time to time on various issues.
Requirements
  • LL.B. / LL.M.
  • Drafting, vetting and negotiating various kinds of agreements within India and cross border.
  • Exposure to Statutory Compliances, Litigation and Intellectual Property law would be advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation skills and business and financial acumen.
  • Strong communications and drafting skills, including the ability to draft high quality agreements and other documents.
  • Well-versed in how business operates in a high degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas.
  • Ability to have influence across all levels of the business including peers and senior management, and able to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented, have good judgement and sound risk mitigating skills.
