Senior Accountant Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian accounting, taxation, and statutory audits.

The role involves delivering comprehensive accounting, taxation, and financial planning services to our domestic Indian clientele. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Indian financial regulations, direct and indirect taxation, statutory audits, and financial reporting standards.

  • Prepare and finalize financial statements as per Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable accounting guidelines.
  • Conduct statutory and internal audits ensuring adherence to compliance requirements laid down by ICAI and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare, review, and file Income Tax returns, GST returns, and other statutory compliance documents.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage audits including statutory, tax, internal, and compliance audits.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services, ensuring clients comply with relevant taxation regulations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with ROC filings, tax audits, and regulatory reporting.
  • Offer guidance and support for corporate finance activities, budgeting, and forecasting.
Requirements
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI (Mandatory).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Indian accounting, taxation, and statutory audits.
